Client is a 67 years old gentleman. He had blisters all around the waist and thighs. They were painful and itchy. He had low degree fever, stick mouth, red tongue with yellow stick coating. The differentiation of syndrome is the liver and gallbladder affected with heat and dampness, plus blockage of qi and blood.
After 5 days of continuous treatment, the blisters began to dry and shrink. After 3 phrases of treatment he has fully recovered from shingles without any post-herpetic pain or any other complication.
Treatment method:
1.Fire Cupping on the affected areas which can relieve the pain;
2.Ginger Moxa on the head and tail of the shingles;
3.Grain moxa on the LU1 point.
