This shingles was treated by moxibustion 2 hours every day after the symptom appeared. The pain has been reduced after the treatment but still there. After 2 days treatment, more blisters appeared on head even together with new itchy and pain.

The client started to doubt about the treatment. But after talking with the traditional Chinese medicine Practitioner, the client decided to continue the moxibustion on the affected area for 2 hours per day (without taking any medication ). On the fourth day, the blisters began to shrink. After one week, the blister began to clear up. Then the client continued the treatment of moxibustion for a few days to strengthen the efficacy. In the end, the client had a full recovery without any postherpetic pain or other complications.
