Hemorrhoid happens usually due to intake of too much spicy food and/or sitting/standing for long periods of time. Acupuncture has very good efficacy, plus it has almost no risk of side effects.

A 46 years old client came to see us due to her hemorrhoid. She has swelling around the anus, pain and discomfort plus bleeding in the anus.

Treatment:

1. Acupuncture points:  Cheng Shan Acupoint BL57，Ba Liao Acupoint BL32，Bai Hui Acupoint DU20，Zu San Li Acupoint ST36;
2. Moxibustion point: Kong Zui Acupoint Lu 6.

Comments:

1. The pain and discomfort were relieved after the first treatment, with almost no bleeding. After three treatments, she feels the hemorrhoid almost has disappeared.
2. It is advisable to take less spicy food and keep regular exercise (instead of sitting or standing for a long period of time).
